ILevel Project Roundup: Commercial Wall Art Installations

One of the great things about being based in New York is the access we have to so many amazing projects. It seems like each month, we become more impressed with the beauty of our clients’ spaces, the ideas they have, and the scope of the work. That’s especially true with commercial art installations, since they are often on a much grander scale.

In the last few months, we’ve had the pleasure of working with some amazing clients on commercial wall art installations, and wanted to share a few behind-the-scenes photos.

1. First up, the bar area at the Baccarat Hotel. We got a sneak peek at this hotly anticipated, super-luxury hotel (located directly across from the Museum of Modern Art) a few weeks before it opened in March, when we hung the wall art in the hotel bar, Les Boissons. The combination of the burgundy walls, the elaborate crystal chandeliers and the historic art collection makes the bar a sight to behold.

2. Next up, is another building that’s been in the news for a while: The freedom tower, and the offices of Conde Nast that are now located there. This art display was done in the offices of the New Yorker.

3. Here, we turned the conference room of a capital firm into a showcase of the firm’s many awards and accreditations.

4. And last but not least, we got to hang a brand new exhibit at the Ricco Maresca Gallery in Chelsea. This one was of the work of Mexican artist Martín Ramírez, exhibited in conjunction with the U.S. Postal Service, which will begin offering 5 forever stamps with the artist’s work this year.
