Now this doesn’t happen often but when it does the answer is often not discovered. Some works have images on both sides and there is a desire to be able to display both and switch sides easily. One solution is simply to put d-rings on both sides, but this is a visual eyesore. Or hang from the top but this puts a lot of stress on the top of the frame and generally looks bad. The best solution is the one pictured here. When the work is framed small tabs are added into the sides of the frame and very discrete mounting brackets are made. This construction allows for the frame to hang safely, hang parallel and be switched with minimal effort.
