We recently completed a project in one of the prettiest settings we’ve worked in this year: atop a gorgeous roofdeck on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. The garden was truly an urban oasis–the stuff of any New Yorker’s dreams.
Our task was to station a floor mirror across from the roofdeck’s dining area in a manner so that it wouldn’t be at risk of falling over due to wind or bad weather (above). While we don’t arrange a ton of art in an alfresco setting, we are seeing a trend toward hanging art outdoors. Here are a few pretty examples we’ve seen recently.
1. A hanging mirror and a set of sheers contribute to the outdoor room feel of this porch.

2. Why not add a mirror to reflect back all the beauty in your garden?

3. With its retractable “roof,” windows and mirror, who needs to ever go indoors?

4. A selection of nautical mirrors hung in a gallery format bring high style to this patio.
