One of the services that ILevel offers is security-installed works. Basically, we lock the art to the wall. This service is commonly used for theft deterrent or safety in high traffic areas. (Think bars, hospitals, lobbies, restaurants, etc.)
However we have also used this in private homes when a work is going in a precarious area (above the baby’s changing table or crib). But I have also be asked to childproof a group of works that were in easy reach of highly curious and adventurous children. The best part is that all the hardware is hidden behind the work and is not visible from the front. Consider installing your art with security and safety in mind if you have young children.
