One of the bigs trends in wall decor that doesn’t seem to be going away is the plate wall. That’s right, a wall decorated with plates. It’s not entirely surprising, given that there are plenty of place settings out there that are just as beautiful as any wall art we’ve seen. Plus, plates are fairly easy to come by at thrift or vintage stores (or even in your own basement!).
What’s been especially fun to watch about this trend is the different arrangements and formations we’ve seen it take. From very neat, grid-like styles, to more abstract, cloud-style hangings.

This first arrangement is one of the most unique we’ve seen. Don’t you love how it wraps around three different walls?
This arrangement is more traditional by comparison, but the diamond shape is still unexpected, and perfect for a large wall like this one, since the plates fill out all four corners.
This last arrangement is the most random of the three, and would look lovely in a more modern space.
