ILevel Art Installations at this Year’s Kips Bay Decorator Show House

A few weeks back we posted the details about one of our favorite events of the year, The Kips Bay Decorator Show House. Now that the event is underway, we wanted to share one of the reasons we love it so much: It gives us a chance to work with some of the nation’s top interior designers. Each year, ILevel art installation works with a handful of talented decorators to outfit the walls of their stunning rooms throughout the house. Last year, that included the home’s piece de resistance, the center spiral stairwell.

But this year, we got to work with one of our largest groups of designers yet, including David Kleinberg Design Associates, Drake/Anderson, Eve Robinson Associates, Kati Curtis Design, Sawyer Berson, Victoria Hagan. Here’s a look at some of the stunning rooms we helped install.

Victoria Hagan’s Grand American Salon living room featured a fireplace lacquered in a brilliant red. In it, you can see reflected another of the room’s focal points, a blown-up version of one of Hagan’s own Instagram photos, with the word “Dream” printed on the front.

We loved the custom gold velvet sofa in the salon space by Sawyer/Benson almost as much as the creative, subtle take on masculine design.

The bedroom by Drake/Anderson was pure sophistication, and pure opulence. One of the loveliest details: the wallpaper print that enveloped the room, covering the crown moldings and repeated on the window treatments.

Among the most unique spaces in the home were the main staircases by Kati Curtis Design. Her muse: The Path to Enlightenment.

We love how the bold, graphic wall art in this room by Eve Robinson contrasts the ethereal, abstract wallpaper on the ceiling, which depicts images of Mars.

Still haven’t stopped by the show house? There’s still time! It runs through June 9, 2016. More information can be found here.
