ILevel @ The Kips Bay Decorator Show House 2025

Each year, the Kips Bay Decorator Show House gathers some of the country’s most talented designers under one roof to transform a luxury New York interior into an immersive exhibition. For ILevel, it’s an opportunity to collaborate with visionaries at the top of their craft—helping their creative visions come to life, one perfectly placed piece at a time.

This year, we were proud to work with two extraordinary talents: Eve Robinson Associates and Mark Hampton Interiors, both of whom created stunning bedrooms.

Eve Robinson Associates: Modern Serenity in Layered Blue

In Eve Robinson’s sophisticated retreat, every line, texture, and tone was deliberate. Deep indigo walls framed a serene bedroom and lounge area, where abstract works and sculptural furniture came together in quiet conversation. ILevel’s team installed the artwork to echo the architectural rhythm of the space—aligning pieces with the geometry of built-ins, furnishings, and even the sightlines between zones.

The result is a seamless visual flow: the grid of small white-framed works above the bed feels like a continuation of the black steel window panes, while the larger, boldly bordered abstractions in the sitting area anchor the room’s palette and symmetry. With its sculptural coffee table and layered lighting, this space exemplifies balance—one that feels as calm as it is contemporary.

Mark Hampton Interiors: Tradition with a Twist

In contrast, Mark Hampton’s bedroom was a celebration of pattern and color. The richly draped canopy and colorful textiles framed a collection of architectural prints and paintings—each installed by ILevel to create harmony amid the exuberance of pattern and texture.

The arrangement tells a story: a salon-style hang that draws the eye across eras and styles, anchored by symmetry and a sense of timeless order. Hanging artwork within such a richly detailed room requires sensitivity to both visual weight and proportion—skills honed over decades of art placement across New York’s most complex interiors.

Together, these two rooms show the range of ILevel’s work—from serene modern geometry to classic layered maximalism. At Kips Bay, our mission was the same as always: to make art feel effortlessly at home, wherever it hangs.

Founded in 1973 to raise funds for after-school programs for the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club, the Show House is celebrating its landmark 50th anniversary. You can visit the historic 1900s residence, which boasts 13-foot ceilings, seven wood-burning fireplaces, and an Otis elevator, at 20 West 12th Street now through October 19th.
