It’s time again for one of our favorite design events of the year in New York City, the annual Holiday House NYC. Each year, Holiday House attracts some of the county’s leading interior designers who create over-the-top, showstopping rooms in a fundraising effort for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. We love it because not only is Holiday House a perfect chance to see what these design stars can do, but it’s also a great opportunity to benefit a good cause during the holiday season.
This year, the roster of designers participating in the show house includes Julia Buckingham, Campion Platt, Kathleen Walsh, and Vicente Wolf, among others. While the room designs won’t be unveiled until the show house opens next week, if the rooms are anything like years’ past, they’ll be done to the nines.
A few of our favorite rooms from last year’s house include:
The grand dining room by Amy Lau Designs:

A moody sitting room by Louis Navarrete Decoration:
And of course, an eclectic parlor by Patrick James Hamilton (we might be biased as we did all of the art installation for this one!)
The 2015 Holiday House NYC runs from November 11 through December 12, and is open daily from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. with the exception of November 25, when the show house will run until 2 p.m., and November 26, when it will be closed. It’s located at The Academy Mansion, 2 East 63rd Street in Manhattan, and admission is $35. For more information about the show, visit http://holidayhousenyc.com or call 212.472.3313.
