The Magic of Hiring a Professional Picture Hanging Company

You’ve got 30 photos lying about your apartment. Some on the floor, some propped up against the walls, a few you’ve tried to hang yourself with less than perfect success. You’ve got better things to do than struggle with a drill, hammer, and level.
Unique Wall Art Ideas that Aren’t Actually Art

Wall art in the traditional sense–like paintings, drawings and photography–doesn’t speak to everybody. If you’ve lived in a house with bare walls for months (or even years) because you just can’t seem to find the right artwork to hang, then you may very well be someone who isn’t drawn to two-dimensional representations.
ILevel at the Kips Bay Decorator Show House 2017

Each year we look forward to the Kips Bay Decorator show house for a number of reasons. First, of course, because it brings together some of the world’s foremost interior design talent to show off their skills under one roof, and all for the worthy cause of supporting the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club.
Tour our East Village Studio Space

A few weeks ago we had the honor of sitting down with the wonderful folks Manhattan Sideways, a site dedicated to uncovering and sharing the unique restaurants, boutiques, galleries and studios tucked away along the city’s side streets.
ILevel Installation: Wall-to-Wall Artwork

As far as gallery walls go, this next project was larger and more unique than most. The client had a collection of pink “tiles,” that they wanted hung across the length of two intersecting walls. Luckily for us, the wall-to-wall artwork was actually made of cardboard, something that simplified the process a bit.
ILevel’s Gallery Wall for Jill Kargman Featured in Vogue

It’s always exciting to see our work in print, but especially when it’s a project we adore and a publication we hold on a pedestal.
ILevel and The Kips Bay Decorator Showhouse

One of our favorite events of the year is coming up fast: The annual Kips Bay Decorator Showhouse begins on May 12. Not only do we love the chance to see what some of the country’s top designers can create when given a blank slate and carte blanche (especially in the name of giving back!), but we’ve had a long history helping to make these visions come to life and feel a personal connection to the event.
New Pieces in the ILevel Studio Collection

One of the most exciting parts about our new retail office space is that we’ll be able to showcase our beautiful studio collections, which are available to purchase as complete sets.
Check Out Our Ad In Architectural Digest!

Last week, we shared the news about our brand new office-slash-studio space on 7th street in the East Village. But, we didn’t just share the big announcement on our blog — we took out an ad in the March issue of Architectural Digest, too! In case you haven’t seen it, here’s a glimpse.
Come Visit ILevel’s Brand New Studio Space

What better way to celebrate a new year than with a brand new space? We’re excited to share that in January, ILevel officially moved to our beautiful new location, a 1600 square foot studio on 7th street. We hope our new home will not only give us a gorgeous space to showcase our work, but will also better allow us to help our clients visualize and find inspiration for the walls of their homes.
Recent ILevel Picture Hanging Projects, November 2015

We’re always on the lookout for the latest trends in wall art and interior design so we can factor them into our projects. As much as we’re inspired by magazines, blogs, and social media sites like Pinterest, one of our biggest sources of design ideas for our client base is actually our other clients.
ILevel Client Amanda Benchley’s Park Avenue Apartment in the New York Times

Last week, the New York Times’ Real Estate section showcased the Park Avenue apartment of Amanda Benchley, the author of the upcoming coffee table book called Artists Living with Art. Inside her apartment tour, she mentioned that, before she even unpacked a single item in her new home, she had her art collections arranged and installed in the space. “I could live with unpacked boxes,” she told the paper, “as long as the things I love were on the walls.”
ILevel Art Installation Project In Architectural Digest

We recently spotted an Instagram post from Architectural Digest that we recognized: A gallery wall we hung for interior designer Nick Olson in a Brooklyn town home. The photo had more than 3,000 likes, so we decided we’d share a little more of the project here.
How to Move Art Safely

ILevel Project Spotlight: Residential Art Installation Featured in Elle Decor

The latest issue of Elle Decor features one of our favorite residential projects we’ve worked on to date, the Manhattan apartment of Kate and Alexander Brodsky, and their two children. It was especially fun to work with the Brodskys since, as the daughter of a well-known decorator and the owner of Manhattan home shop KRB, Kate decorated the space herself.
